The company OOO InterKamService was established in 1998 as a regional operator providing services in the territory of the current Kamchatka Krai in the field of satellite and fixed-line communications, broadband access. 

Currently, OOO InterKamService operates throughout the Krai on the basis of its own backbone communication networks, as well as in cooperation with other operators. 

The total market share (including subsidiaries) in different business segments ranges from 24 to 35%. 

The business structure includes its own division, which carries out the construction of fiber-optic communication lines in the Krai, having a large portfolio of current and completed orders both for the needs of third-party customers (PJSC Rostelecom, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Federal State Unitary Enterprise RTRS, the Big Three operators) and in its own interests. In September 2020, the project for the construction of the Atlasovo-Anavgai-Esso fiber-optic communication line was completed. The company's business model does not involve the use of borrowed funds, which means a "zero" current credit burden and the implementation of the investment program using only its own funds. 

The company's own infrastructure development plans include the construction of distribution networks in the Ust-Bolsheretsky, Ust-Kamchatsky and Elizovsky districts of the Kamchatka Territory and are currently being implemented. 

Extensive experience in the field of construction of communication lines and structures, integration and complex solutions allows us to guarantee the successful implementation of projects of varying complexity. 

The company's development strategy is based, among other things, on the development of its own infrastructure and the replacement of satellite trunk communication channels with fiber-optic communication lines. For these purposes, the company is currently considering the issue of phased construction of fiber-optic communication lines in the direction of "Anavgay-Ust-Kharyuzovo-Tigil-Palana-Ossora" with a total length of trunk networks of about seven hundred and fifty kilometers. Parallel construction of distribution networks using PON technology in the specified settlements with 100% coverage will allow connecting subscribers of all segments within the framework of a single, regional line of tariff plans of the company with various options for financing the construction and/or subscriber tariff from the regional authorities. The planned dates for the phased implementation of the project are 2021–2023. The total amount of financing for the construction is 650 million rubles.
