On October 2-3, 2025, the Russian Satellite Communications Company will hold the anniversary, 30th international conference of operators and users of space telecommunications SATCOMRUS 2025. The main topic of the event: Technological challenges of the next decade. What to expect from new technologies for satellite communications and what technologies to expect from satellite communications". The main domestic industry event will be held in Moscow, in the Congress Center of Bauman Moscow State Technical University (57A Baumanskaya St., building 1) and will bring together leaders of the telecom industry.

Participants in the plenary session will discuss promising technological developments in the industry, the results of import substitution over the past year, as well as the achievements and difficulties encountered in the construction of domestic devices and ground equipment. Other topics of discussion will be the conditions and advantages of entering new markets, covering the Arctic zone with space services and ensuring a seamless digital space in the Russian Federation that would combine the capabilities of telecommunications, navigation and Earth observation systems. In addition, the speakers will identify key global trends in satcom industry, tell how Russian companies correlate their development strategies with them, and discuss the role of the government in the new space race. Separate topics of the event will be the issues of updating infrastructure, creating domestic software, ensuring the universality and interchangeability of solutions.

At the first session, the speakers, in turn, will talk about what to expect for the operator business in Russia, how the domestic direct broadcasting will develop and what challenges of the industry will be solved by future constellations.

The second session is devoted to miniaturization of equipment: the discussion participants will share their experience in creating small-sized mobile VSAT terminals for working through spacecraft in geostationary orbit, universal satellite modems and reliable HUBs. Also, within the framework of SATCOMRUS 2025, the next Demo Day of the specialized Industrial Competence Center (ICC) will be held, within which the speakers will present the results of the activities of the Satellite Communications ICC for the first half of 2025.

We will be glad to see you among the participants of SATCOMRUS 2025!
