JSC “Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems” is Russia’s key supplier of telecommunications satellites. Over 60 years of experience in engineering, state-of-the-art manufacturing & test capabilities, use of advanced technologies, highly qualified personnel – these are the factors that enable the company to make products meeting international quality & reliability standards. Satellites built by ISS form the backbone of Russian Satellite Communications Company’s fleet. This refers to 10 out of 12 satellites, including recently commissioned new satellites EXPRESS-AMU3 & EXPRESS-AMU7.

Orbital fleet reinforcement with modern satellites made by ISS encourages telecommunications and broadcasting operators to more actively switch to the resources of domestically made satellites, which is an important condition for technological self-sufficiency of Russia. EXPRESS family satellites’ strategic mission is to eliminate the digital gap and facilitate accessibility of telecommunications, broadcasting, data transmission and high speed internet services even in the remotest regions, and eventually – to improve the quality of people’s life.
